YORREnergyWorks provides a time for renewal offering the individual a journey to explore the past, present and future. Since 1982, Barbara has been instructing patients and students with the intention to integrate the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the self. Her current practice has evolved into energetic healing methodologies including the ability to channel information from Ascended Masters, Angels, and Spirit Guides. Private healing sessions are also available for your animal companion(s). YORREnergyWorks has evolved over time into a complementary healing practice including both the medical and metaphysical sciences paradigms. Eastern and Western healing systems combined, provide the individual with the ability to heal the source of any situation from the soul level to the physical body. Barbara's initial interest in the mind/body connection began with an introduction to a book on dream interpretation in middle school. Readings on astrology in high school furthered her desire to learn more about this concept. Dance lessons and several years as a gymnast, enriched her life through movement and she began teaching dance and gymnastics to children from the ages five to 12 years. Her experiences with dreams and premonitions strongly influenced her intention to continue studying in this field. In 1982, she graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She has utilized these skills in psychiatry, in- and outpatient rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, as well as the educational system. Her work with children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly have offered Barbara many life-changing experiences and a passion for providing services to others. In 1993, she received a Master of Arts degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida. Her studies required working with children and adults with a variety of psychosocial needs. It was at this time that it became very clear that there was a need for healing beyond that which could be accomplished through the medical field alone. Accessing that other dimension spurred additional studies in metaphysics.
Barbara received her Reiki I and II attunements in 2007 followed by Reiki Teacher/Master certification in 2009. For the past few years, she has been creatively weaving Eastern and Western concepts to promote the highest level of healing for people and animals of all ages. From 2007 to the present, Barbara has been seeking a doctorate degree in Metaphysical Sciences from the University of Metaphysical Sciences in California. The pursuit of this degree has opened many doors for delving into the unseen and as a path for healing the past, present, and future. |
Barbara Lindberg, MA, OTR/L, RYT is a compassionate energy worker. She unites traditional practices to assist others in healing from the inner core (soul level) to the outer (physical body) including the subtle energy that surrounds us. 
In 2006, Barbara sought intensive Hatha Yoga training in Reno, Nevada through Yoga Loka. Pranayama (the study of the breath), meditation, Ayurvedic Health and Medicine and the study of the Chakras were all part of this curriculum. During this year, she focused her yoga practice on self-healing followed by a calling to teach others. The invitation to unite the mind, body, and spirit offers the individual space to look within. This allows discovery of the truth of who you really are and how to fulfill your individual needs. Children with characteristics of ADHD/ADD, Autism, learning disabilities, as well as genetic and metabolic disorders greatly benefit from movement and energy healing.
